Ye, the rapper previously generally known as Kanye West, has returned to Twitter after a greater than two week break. Ye beforehand had his account locked after making a sequence of anti-Semitic remarks.

Kanye West, the rapper who now goes by the title Ye, posted his first tweets after a greater than two-week silence.
On Sunday, he tweeted to examine if his account was working.
Ye adopted that up with “Shalom,” a greeting in Hebrew.
The tweets mark the return of one other controversial determine to Twitter following the corporate’s acquisition by Elon Musk. The billionaire govt stated on Saturday that he’ll reinstate the account of former President Donald Trump.
Not like Trump, Ye by no means obtained an outright ban from Twitter. As an alternative, the corporate locked his account on Oct. 10 for an unspecified period of time, after the rapper posted plenty of antisemitic remarks which escalated into threatening and hateful feedback about Jewish individuals.
Ye didn’t tweet after Oct. 9 till Nov. 3. It’s unclear when Twitter unlocked his account.
Musk stated in late October that he was not behind Ye’s account being restored.
On Sunday, Musk responded to Ye’s Twitter comeback.
In response to his lockout on Twitter final month, Ye agreed to purchase the conservative social media platform Parler.
Ye’s antisemitic outbursts have led to main industrial companions slicing offers with the rapper.
Adidas ended its partnership with Ye final month whereas Hole and Foot Locker stated they’d take away merchandise from the rapper’s Yeezy model from their shops.
